Frequently Asked Questions
SS 316 contains 2-3% molybdenum while SS 304 does not. This makes 316 more resistant to chlorides and marine environments. Choose 304 for general applications and food processing. Pick 316 when you need better corrosion resistance, especially near salt water or chemicals.
We stock stainless steel pipes from 1/8″ to 24″ NPS (DN6 to DN600). Wall thickness ranges from 0.5mm to 50mm. Standard lengths run up to 6 meters, with custom lengths available on request. We carry schedules 5S, 10S, 40S, 80S, and XXS.
Both types are available. Seamless pipes work better for high-pressure applications and critical systems. Welded pipes cost less and suit most general purposes. We supply seamless pipes per ASTM A312 and welded pipes per ASTM A358. Tell us your application, and we will recommend the right type.

SS 310 and SS 321 handle high temperatures well. SS 310 works up to 1150C for intermittent service. SS 321 contains titanium for stability up to 870C. For extreme heat in furnaces or exhaust systems, we recommend SS 310S or SS 310H grades.
Yes. Every order ships with mill test certificates (MTC) as standard. These documents verify chemical composition, mechanical properties, and compliance with specifications. We can also arrange third-party inspection and additional testing if your project requires it.
